NEW YORK CITY, New York, Feb 10, CMC – Grenadian middle-distance ace Neisha Bernard-Thomas was among six winners at the New Balance Collegiate Invitational indoor track and field meeting on Saturday.

Bernard-Thomas dominated the women’s 800 metres for an easy win in two minutes 05.32 seconds, while Trinidad and Tobago sprinters Kelly Ann Baptiste and Richard Thompson landed the marquee 60-metre sprints.

Jamaicans Peta-Gaye Beckford, Kimberly Williams and Sheldon Leith accounted for the other Caribbean victories at the meet.

Bernard-Thomas, a two-time Central American and Caribbean (CAC) Championship gold medallist, won her 800-metre run emphatically -- by more than two seconds.

Jamaican Carlene Robinson was closest to her at the finish in 2:07.47, with Miesha Marzell (2:08.52) third. Barbadian Sheena Gooding was fifth in 2:08.55.
