Boxers failed in Pan-Am Qualification Bid

Grenada’s three boxers at the Pan-American Games qualifiers in Colombia have returned to the island.

The three boxers secured bronze medals but failed to qualify for the Games since gold and silver medal winners secured automatic qualification.

Middleweight Martin Bascombe, lightwelter Kennis Joseph and heavyweight Andy Grant were the local participants.

Alston Alexander accompanied the team as coach.
