West Indies coach Gus Logie has admitted that there has been a
drastic attitude change among the players.
Logie said the work ethics have improved with players asking to
do extra duties. The former West Indies vice-captain said the
leadership role is taking shape.
"It has resulted in a certain among of commitment that
we're seeing from the players, from the senior players especially
and it certainly has transferred to the younger ones. We are
seeing whereas the whole responsibility is now taking root in the
team. Players are being responsible not only for their own cricket
but also for each other," Logie told reporters on Wednesday.
After six years as a junior coach Logie said the involvement of
other stakeholders are critical for the further development of
West Indies cricket.
"At this level there are a lot of stakeholders involved a
lot of people who want to see things go a certain direction. When
I came onboard one of the first things I thought will be nice is
to have some of the senior players getting involved in sharing
their expertise. I don't think any one person could make the
change in West Indies cricket, he added.
West Indies and Australia are preparing for their final two
Cable and Wireless One-Day matches in Grenada on Friday and
