Modeste shares in million-dollar Premier League 'bounty'

Grenada’s Anthony Modeste featured in Hazard United’s 3-2 victory over Arnett Gardens in the Wray & Nephew National Premier League in Jamaica on Sunday.

Modeste played the full 90 minutes as Roen Nelson netted the winner in the 86th minute, his 30th goal of the season.

Hazard also won the Under-21 championship after they defeated Tivoli Gardens 1-0.

Carlington Smith scored a second half goal to give the Under-21s their title, while Omar Daley (ninth minute), Wolry Wolfe (26th) and Roen Nelson in the 86th guided their team to the NPL title.

Everton Bunsie in the 62nd minute and Cornel Chin-Sue in the 83rd minute scored for Arnett Gardens.

For their NPL win Hazard took home $1m for a total of $2m for the season in that competition. They also took home $150,000 for their Under-21 win.
